Comitiva app

Privacy policy

Effective October 17, 2026

Comitiva is a shared trip planner for small groups. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. It stores only the trip details you and your group type in, so everyone on the trip can see the same plan.

What the app stores

When you create or edit a trip, Comitiva saves:

On your phone, the app also remembers the codes of trips you've opened so you can get back to them. That list stays on the device and is never sent anywhere.

The app doesn't ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, email address or phone number.

Who can see a trip

Anyone who has a trip's code can see that trip and everything in it, and can add to or change its plans. There's no password beyond the code.

Share a code only with the people you're traveling with, and don't put anything in a trip you wouldn't want them to see, such as passport numbers or payment details.

Where it's stored

Trip data is stored with Supabase, a database provider, on servers in the United States (US West). Data travels between the app and Supabase over an encrypted connection. Supabase is the only third-party service the app uses.

What we don't do

How long it's kept

Trip data is kept until it's deleted. You can delete individual activities in the app at any time. To delete a whole trip, or anything else, ask us (below).

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] with the trip code and what you'd like removed, whether that's a whole trip or just your name. We'll delete it within 30 days and let you know when it's done.

Children

Comitiva isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. Questions are welcome at the same address: [email protected].
